1st Choice Home Improvements is a quality driven business. They take pride in their work and they do great work. They listened to my concerns, came up with a plan, and did not deviate from it. They were so pleasant to have in my home, cleaned up after themselves and me peace of mind. They are my #1 choice!

We are EXTREMELY pleased with the work that 1st Choice Home Improvement did for us. Our home was built in 1990, and the one-piece fiberglass tub/shower combination in the master bathroom was cracking badly. We called Don Perrin (Chief Sales Representative) and he explained the entire process of how the work would be performed. He came prepared with a short but informative video on the manufacturing process involved in making our new tub, and showed us samples of the materials used. Once we selected the desired color and style, and agreed to the price, he took care of everything else. The entire process was designed around whatever the customer wanted. He even allowed us to purchase the mixing valve, shower head and spout we preferred.I can’t say enough about the team of installers! Justin and his brother arrived each day at the time agreed upon (around 9:15am), and worked hard each day. Not only were they polite, they displayed genuine concern for our property while the work was being accomplished! They used drop cloths, they hauled away all the materials, and gave us great advice on how to clean and maintain our new acrylic tub/shower. They completed the job in a day and a half. The finished installation is so professional that we wish we could show it off to everyone! But after all, it is the master bath. Displayed by invitation only!! 5-Stars in all categories.

This testament is long overdue. Two weeks after the start of a remodel of nearly the entire home I was diagnosed with cancer. The entire team at 1st Choice continued work, as we wanted and needed. Usually when contraction is being done the owner has to live around it. Of course that was the case, somewhat. However, while I was going through cancer treatment this team worked around me as much as, or more than we did them. I am so thankful that we decided to remodel. Still in treatment the home layout makes things much easier. But, I do not believe that any other business would have accommodated me and my wife during this tough period. I completely recommend you choose 1st Choice if you are considering any home projects. It will be done right and you will be pleased in the end.

My experience started several months ago when Mike Engles came to my house to explain your company and what products you offer. I have to admit I was a little nervous before he arrived because of all the stories on the news about all the shysters that are out there. He was very professional and gave an outstanding presentation. He asked me very good questions to help him narrow down what products best fit my needs. I never felt pressured and he never tried to steer me to one particular product. He explained the products and let me do the rest. I chose your company without getting any other estimates because Mike impressed me that much. I was also very impressed with your companies credentials. Your companies' achievements were the key to my choice the $300.00 discount was the icing on the cake. Your entire team confirmed Mike's promises of superior service. When I had a problem with my title company for my equity loan (a notice of commencement was on my title) Scott was all over it and the problem was fixed the same day I called. Then came installation day and Chip was great he did a super job on the installation. He explained very clearly how to put the shutters on and made sure the site was squared away, you never would have known he had been there. From the first telephone call to your company until the final completion of the job, your company and it's employees proved to be trustworthy, competent and very courteous. On June 14, 2000, we called your company to come to our home and give us an estimate for some remodeling work we wanted done in our kitchen. We wanted to have a small door going from our kitchen to the dining room enlarged and made into an archway; have a window in kitchen replaced with a picture window; and have countertops and backsplash replaced in kitchen. Within 2 days; your salesman, Rich Murphy, came out to our home and gave us a proposal which we accepted. He was very prompt and courteous. He also seemed very knowledgeable. Scott McCartney and Stephen Smart came to our home to look over future job and took final measurements. Both of these gentlemen are very experienced and competent. Within a couple of weeks the installers arrived to start the job. They started on the day that was agreed on and were very courteous. The installation crew chief was Donald Dimmitt. He was responsible for the archway and the picture window. He did a beautiful job and was very interested in satisfying us. He was very competent and experienced and considered all our needs while doing the job because it involved a lot of sanding and dust. Ken Norton removed the old countertops and backsplash and installed the new ones. He also did a great job. He was also always punctual, always courteous and very competent. Scott McCartney and Stephen Smart came to look at the job several times while it was in progress. We had several conversations with them while job was in process. They always returned our calls if we had questions. This personal touch was very impressive to us and we really appreciated it. We were very pleased with the installers that work for 1 st Choice Home Improvements and would recommend your company highly. Everything was done to our satisfaction and it was your company's desire to meet this satisfaction. Your company recently re-sided my home. After hurricane Ivan your company installed siding on my home and we both agreed at a later date that the installation job was not up to your company's standards. You personally agreed to redo the entire home correctly and at no cost to me. This is the way to do business and I greatly appreciate your efforts to "do the right thing." The installer, Mr. Chris Roberts, always kept me informed on timing and any concerns he had. He handled every detail as if his name was on the final product. I appreciated his expertise and knowledge. I needed this remodel to be done correctly. I have one of those blue tags that hang on the mirror of my car. That made the walk-in shower a necessity. I would highly recommend working with this company again. Ask for Mr. Roberts to be your installer.
